Terms of service — SoruX

Acceptance

By downloading or using SoruX you agree to these terms. SoruX is operated by Mustafa Evleksiz. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

SoruX is intended for users aged 13 and above preparing for Turkish university or civil-service entrance exams (YKS/KPSS). Users under 18 should use SoruX with parental or guardian consent where required by local law.

2. The service

SoruX is a YKS prep platform with AI-generated questions, ELO-based difficulty per topic, photo-based solving, performance tracking and an AI Coach. The app is provided 'as is'; we do not guarantee any specific exam result.

3. Accounts

You may sign in with email, Apple ID or Google. Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account.

4. SoruX Pro subscription

How billing works:

• Some features require an active SoruX Pro subscription (monthly or yearly).
• iOS purchases are processed by Apple via RevenueCat and billed to your Apple ID. Android purchases are processed by Google Play Billing via RevenueCat. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play settings.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google.
• Web does not sell subscriptions directly; mobile subscriptions sync to web access.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Manipulate XP, ELO scores or leaderboard standings.
• Reverse engineer, abuse, overload or circumvent the app's limits or security.
• Use bots, scripts or automation to interact with the question pool.
• Upload content that is illegal, harassing or infringes third-party rights.

6. AI-generated content

AI-generated questions and solutions may contain errors. The 2-phase blind-verify + quality validator pipeline minimises this, but no automated system is perfect. Use the 'Report question' button to flag any problematic content; we will review and remove or correct as needed.

7. AI Coach

AI Coach explanations are general pedagogical guidance only and do not replace teachers, tutors or qualified educational counsellors. You are responsible for decisions you make based on AI Coach output.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of avatars, prompts and any content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the service. We do not use your learning data or prompts to train AI models.

9. Intellectual property

The SoruX app, web platform, branding and software are owned by us and protected by law. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own study.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using and delete the app at any time.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind. SoruX does not guarantee official exam results; service interruptions by third-party providers (Firebase, Vertex AI, RevenueCat, etc.) are outside our control.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for SoruX Pro in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, and disputes are subject to the courts of Istanbul, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. The service complies with KVKK and Apple App Store / Google Play Store policies.

14. Changes and contact
