PrismaFX
Currency app

More than a converter: what your money buys today — and what it bought back then.

PrismaFX began as a converter, then started asking the real question: what is this money worth? Next to the rate it shows past purchasing power based on official data — litres of fuel, days of minimum wage, a share of a home. Portfolio, expenses and budgets stay on the device: no account, no ads, nothing leaves the phone.

  1. Convert

    214 lines, one tap apart.

172 currencies, 33 cryptocurrencies, gold, silver, platinum and palladium by the ounce or the gram, copper by the kilo. Favourite pairs sit on the home screen; the big number is always the one you asked for.

  2. Time Machine

What did your money buy that year?

Pick an amount and a year. PrismaFX brings it up to today with inflation, then puts it in everyday terms: litres of fuel, days of minimum wage — gross or net — and how much of a home. The series are official: TÜİK, ILO, BIS.

  3. Charts

The last day hour by hour, the last year day by day.

Every pair has its history: the last 24 hours in hourly steps, up to a year in daily ones, with the high, the low and the average. A second tab shows the biggest movers.

  4. Wallet

Portfolio, expenses, budgets — on the phone only.

Track what you hold in any currency or metal, log what you spend by category, set a budget for each. Export to CSV or JSON whenever you like. None of it is sent anywhere.

  5. Yours

Light, dark, or a prism of its own.

Automatic, light or dark appearance; backgrounds from plain to prism; a home screen you arrange yourself. On iPad the layout is its own, not a stretched phone.

How it's built

One SwiftUI codebase, four screens.

iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and widgets share one Swift codebase. Rates come through a small cache service of my own on Vercel and Upstash. They are indicative and refreshed hourly — a guide for everyday decisions, not a trading rate.
