In short
FinaX is a free cash-flow ledger. You enter the numbers, the app produces a forecast from them. A forecast is not advice, and the responsibility for your money decisions stays with you. You can export your data at any time and delete your account at any time. The long version is below.
1. Who these terms are between
FinaX is built and published by Mustafa Evleksiz (from here on, "the developer"); you are the person using the app. By downloading and using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them the remedy is simple: do not use the app. The data controller is Mustafa Evleksiz, acting as a natural person; FinaX is not published under a registered company. Contact runs through the e-mail address above.

2. What FinaX does, and does not do
It does: keep the accounts, transactions, recurring payments and instalment plans you enter; produce from them a cash-flow forecast for the days ahead, summaries such as "safe to spend", and reminders for upcoming payments. It exports your data as CSV or JSON and restores it from a JSON backup. It does not:
- Connect to your bank. There is no open-banking link, no statement fetching, no card reading. You enter all the data by hand.
- Move money. It makes no payments, transfers no funds, processes no cards. Marking something "paid" in FinaX is a note in your ledger; nothing happens in the real world.
- Give investment, tax or legal advice. The developer is not a licensed financial adviser. No number on the screen may be treated as advice or a recommendation.
3. How accurate the numbers are
The app's calculations are only as correct as the data you enter. A missing or wrong record makes the forecast wrong too. Forecasts are forecasts: your future balance, "safe to spend" and the flow line are calculations based on today's records, not a guarantee. Exchange rates come from a third-party provider, are refreshed once a day, and can differ from the live market; you can also enter your own rate, in which case the app uses yours. In short: when you make money decisions, your bank statement and your own judgement are what count, not FinaX's screen.
4. Your account
- An e-mail address is enough to open an account; you sign in with a code sent to your e-mail, or with "Sign in with Apple". There is no password, and therefore no password to be stolen.
- The security of your e-mail account is yours to keep. Because the sign-in code goes there, whoever can reach your e-mail can reach your FinaX account. I recommend keeping the biometric lock switched on on your device.
- You open the account for your own use; you do not enter someone else's data on their behalf or without their permission.
- The app is not intended for anyone under 13.
5. While using the app
You are unlikely to run into this in ordinary use, but the limit still has to be written down. You agree not to: put automated or excessive load on the server, try to reach another person's data, try to get around security controls, use the app for an unlawful purpose, or reverse-engineer the app in order to obtain the developer's server keys. If you do any of these, your account may be closed.
6. Price
FinaX is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no ads. If that ever changes, the change is announced to existing users in advance, and the data you entered up to that day remains yours in any case — export is always available.
7. Continuity and backups
FinaX is built by one person. That means: Taking backups is in your hands, and recommended. Settings → My data → "Take a full backup (JSON)". The developer offers no recovery service against loss of your data.
- There is no uptime commitment (no SLA). The app may be temporarily unreachable because of server maintenance, a bug, or a provider outage.
- Versions, features and the interface may change without notice.
- The service may one day be discontinued. If that happens, wherever possible you will be given reasonable notice and time to export your data.
8. Your data
The data you enter is yours. The developer does not sell it, does not use it for advertising, and does not share it with anyone else. The detail of what is kept where is in the Privacy Policy; that text is an inseparable part of these terms and can be read inside the app under Settings → About → Legal. You can export your data at any time (CSV/JSON) and permanently delete your account from inside the app at any time.
9. Intellectual property
The app itself — its code, design, name and logo — belongs to the developer. You are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the app personally. That does not give you the right to copy, sell, modify or distribute the app under your own name. The data you enter is outside this clause; it belongs to you.
10. Limits of liability
FinaX is provided "as is". No warranty, express or implied, is given that the app will be free of errors, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app — lost profit, lost data, delayed or missed payments, or the consequences of financial decisions you make. There is one thing this clause cannot do: rights granted to you by consumer law that cannot be removed by contract are reserved. Cases of intent and gross negligence are likewise outside this limitation.
11. Termination
You can delete your account and remove the app whenever you like. The developer may close an account if the rules in clause 5 are broken, or if the service is discontinued altogether; in the second case reasonable advance notice is given. When an account is closed, your data on the server is deleted. Taking a backup beforehand is up to you.
12. Relationship with Apple
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, the following apply:
- These terms are between you and the developer; Apple is not a party to this agreement.
- The developer alone is responsible for the app, its content and its maintenance; Apple has no maintenance or support obligation.
- If the app fails to conform to the agreement, Apple has no obligation beyond refunding the purchase price (if any).
- Any claim — including product liability, conformity with consumer law and third-party intellectual-property claims — is directed to the developer.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
- You use the app on the representation that you are not located in a country under a U.S. embargo and are not on a prohibited-parties list.
13. If these terms change
The terms may change over time. Every version carries its date at the top; if something substantial changes it is announced inside the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means accepting the new terms.
14. Governing law
This text is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; disputes fall to the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul. Any rights that the consumer legislation of your own country grants you remain reserved.
